The digitalization associated with the transition to Industry 4.0 represents an often untapped potential – especially for SMEs. One example is virtual reality which has multiple applications, including the prevention of musculoskeletal disorders.
The aim of the European research project VIRTFac is to make these virtual tools more accessible. On the occasion of the closing of the project, VIRTFac invites companies to discuss the application of virtual reality in the company of the future.
Contributions include solutions developed within the VIRTFac project as well as examples of best practice from industry and research.
At the end of the conference, workshops will be offered to experience VR use cases first hand.
The main partners of the VIRTFac project are INSA Strasbourg, the University of Strasbourg and the Hochschule Offenbourg. The project is funded by the European Union through the Interreg V program and supported by Offensive Science.
